Loops, KALs and test knits
Loops are small private groups of 2 to 20 people sharing progress on whatever they're knitting. Start one and invite your friends from inside ktog (it goes to their notifications), or share the invite link with anyone not on ktog yet.
KALs (knit-alongs) are groups knitting the same pattern on the same schedule, run by a host. Most are open to anyone; some hosts approve who joins, and some have a limit on numbers.
Test knits are private, invite-only groups where a designer and testers work through an unreleased pattern before it's published.
Add friend is two-way: you both agree, and can see each other's progress and invite each other to Loops. Follow is one-way: it just puts someone's public posts on your Board.
