Community guidelines

ktog is for knitting with friends. These guidelines keep it warm and safe for everyone.

Be kind. Encourage people, especially beginners. Everyone frogs sometimes. Critique only when someone asks for it.

Respect designers. Only upload patterns you own or bought. Never share pattern files, photos of pattern pages or copied instructions with others. Credit the designer when you post your project.

Keep it real. No AI-generated patterns or images passed off as handmade or original work.

Respect privacy. Don't share other people's photos or personal details without permission. What's shared in a Loop stays in the Loop.

Mind the spoilers. In mystery KALs, keep clue photos and chat in the right clue channel.

Not allowed on ktog:

• Harassment, bullying, threats or hate based on who someone is
• Sexual content, or anything that sexualises minors
• Spam, scams and unapproved advertising
• Sharing pirated patterns or other people's work
• Anything illegal

Loop and KAL owners can remove posts and members from their groups. Please use this fairly.
