Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and [Your full legal name], who runs ktog from Denmark. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. Who can use ktog

You must be at least 13. One account per person, and you're responsible for keeping your login safe.

2. The service

ktog lets you track your own knitting projects, share progress with friends in Loops, and join knit-alongs (KALs). ktog is free. If we add paid features, we'll tell you clearly before you pay for anything, and Loops and joining free KALs will stay free.

3. Your content

• You keep ownership of everything you add: patterns, notes, photos, posts and messages.
• You give us permission to store and display your content only as needed to run ktog, for example showing your progress post to the Loop you shared it with. We don't use your content for advertising or to train AI.
• Patterns: only upload patterns you own or have legally bought. Pattern files are private to you and can't be shared through ktog.
• You're responsible for what you post.

4. Rules

You agree to follow the Community guidelines. In short: be kind, don't share patterns you don't have rights to, don't post AI-generated patterns or images as your own work, and don't post anything illegal, hateful, sexual or harassing.

5. How we moderate

• Anyone can report content through the Report button or at hello@ktog.app. We review reports, usually within [48 hours].
• Loop and KAL owners can remove posts and members from their own groups.
• If we remove your content or restrict your account, we'll tell you what we did and why, and you can ask us to review the decision by replying to that message.
• We may suspend accounts that repeatedly break the rules or post illegal content.

6. KAL hosts and test knits

If you host a KAL or test knit, you're responsible for your event's rules, patterns and any prizes. Testers must keep unreleased patterns private.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we'll tell you why.

8. No guarantees

We work hard to keep ktog running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is". We're not responsible for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

9. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

10. Law

Danish law applies. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of your own country's consumer laws.
